There’s nothing quite like the ocean after the sun goes down – the moonlight dancing off the waves, the sparkling lights of hillside villas in the distance, all under a canopy of stars.

Night Kayakers

While most people have enjoyed a glass-bottomed boat tour at some point, not as many have tried a glass-bottomed kayak, and better yet, one equipped with LED lights to illuminate the world below. Some ingenious blokes around the island have done just this, and it makes for a truly magical evening activity. Turtles, tarpon, sting rays, and even the odd mermaid are commonly seen. We can’t say it will be quite as dramatic as the clip below, but we prefer the safety of the harbor with easy access to dinner and drinks.
